Believe it or not, one of the most difficult tasks that a roofer has is locating the source of a leak on a flat.

The quest usually starts with an inspection of the inside of the building to pinpoint exactly where the water in coming in the building. Its location is noted in relationship to distances from walls, roof penetrations and its relationship to other points. Using this information, the search moves to the roof to try to specifically locate the leak. Once the leak is found and fixed it is important to isolate the cause of the leak a correct it if possible.
